Q: How much does it cost to be part of Then Is Now?
A: Similar to a traditional booth, rent is based on how much space your goods occupy within the store and whether they require special care or knowledge to display and sell. Monthly rent typically ranges from $60–$250 (with potential discounts), plus a 15–25% commission (lower rent corresponds to higher commission). This fee includes professional staging, ongoing upkeep, marketing, stock rotation, and active in-store salesmanship – support you would not typically receive when renting a booth or selling on your own.
Q: Do I need to restock every week?
A: Not at all. We communicate when restocking is needed and work with your schedule. If you find something great or complete a project – let us know.
Q: Can I be featured in your marketing?
A: Absolutely. We love highlighting makers and pickers in our videos, QR tags, and social content.
Q: What if I sell online or elsewhere already?
A: Great! We’ll promote your links via QR code in-store and send traffic your way.
Q: Do you have an on-line store?
A: Our on-line store will open soon after our in-person shop and will sell small second chance merchandise using the same Then Is Now staging and story-telling to maximize perceived value.
